The Center for Working Families’ (CWF) Employment Strategist works with a growing number of employers in metro Atlanta who are looking for motivated entry- and mid-level employees. As the number and diversity of its employer customers grow, CWF becomes better prepared to meet the employment interests and needs of its resident participants by offering positions with advancement potential in an array of job sectors and locations.

By researching national trends, developments, and theories in job readiness training, adult education and welfare reform/TANF, CWF continues to learn about its participant and employer customers in order to identify employment opportunities that align resident needs and interests with employer demand.

CWF is currently focusing on employers in the hospitality/food service, healthcare, customer service, industrial service, construction, and automotive service industries. A number of large employers have already been recruited and they regularly provide position listings to the Job Developer: Concessions International, Kroger, Latex Foam, Marriott International, and UPS.
